Main mission

The functional consultant acts as an interface between the client’s business teams and the software package: he or she helps the client to specify his or her needs according to the possibilities of the software package, sets up the tool according to the functional specifications, trains the users and ensures the support and maintenance of the clients’ solutions.

Missions and activities
  • Remote support: you will handle support requests based on your business and functional knowledge.
  • Analysis of user requirements: you may be required to assist senior consultants in working meetings to analyse customer requirements. You will be able to write the specifications, the expression of the functional need or the technical specification according to the customers’ requirements.
  • Participate in the parameterisation of the software package: you may be required to parameterise the clients’ solutions to meet their requirements and needs. The configuration may be basic or more advanced depending on the needs, all under the assistance of more experienced consultants.
  • Participate in change management: you may be required to take part in end-user training, with the help of senior consultants.

Technical and functional skills

  • Mastery of the ERP concept.
  • Knowledge of or experience with SAGE X3 is an advantage, not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of purchasing/sales/stock areas within companies.
  • Mastery of office automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL language appreciated.

  • Enhanced writing skills.
  • Ability to summarise and be rigorous.
  • Good command of oral and written English- Intermediate (B2) & Hungarian – Advanced (C1).

  • Microsoft Outlook – Advanced.

Positioning in the organisation

You will be part of a team of functional consultants working mainly on the „Purchasing”, „Sales” and „Inventory” modules of the Sage X3 ERP. The team is composed of different profiles spread across Europe.

Working conditions and location

You will work in our offices, located in Budapest VIII. kerület, East West Business Center, Rákóczi út 1-3, 1088 Hungary.

Possibility of occasional travel to clients.

Remuneration

Based on experience.
